"100 years of perservance"

It has been 100 years since my mom's family sailed from Poland in the spring of 1913, to Ellis Island on a German steamship. That day , Grandma Josefina brought her little baby, Casmier and her little three- year old , Eugenia to America to meet her husband , Josef Jarzynski. My mom, Helena was born later , as well as, my uncles James and Stanley. Their life is America was difficult as Josef passed on to heaven at the age of 39 in 1924, but they persevered. Little Casmier at the age of five was hit by a car and was crippled from the waist down for 14 years before he passed on to heaven, but the family persevered. And Josefina also passed on to heaven the same year , in 1932. The family persevered because they had the little three- year Eugenia who grew up to raise all of her brothers and sister, Helena , my mom. What is perseverance? It was what my grandparents and my mom's family had to keep the family together always. I will carry on this perseverance!
