"Tears Shed"

Today I came from my best friend's tribute to life.Why was she my best friend? Why were" tears shed" for her. "Tears were shed "for her because she was a friend that shared the values of family first and her love of children , which are my priorities in life. As the song by Alabama , "Angels Among Us" was sung , it brought back memories of her being the friend that was a "silent " angel in life. She was there for her family and children , in "teaching " them how to live , how to give and guided them with a "light of love". I am a retired teacher , she came to my classroom to "help " the kindergarteners with "reading". She was there for them. She was my granddaughter's godmother and she was mother of seven children and twelve grandchildren and one grandson herself. She did all this in the "spirit of love" Now she is looking down from heaven watching over all of us.
